Categories:

The Hill House Inn outside of the town of the Mendocino has posted on their Facebook page that a recent guest of the inn contacted them informing staff that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The social media posts says the guest displayed no symptoms while he was staying at the inn and has assured sanitizing protocols are being followed and management is collaborating with Mendocino County Public Health.

The Facebook post reads:

Recently we had a guest stay with us that contacted us to say they tested positive for Covid-19 after their return home. The guest did not leave early and showed no symptoms during their stay. The guest had done the responsible thing by contacting the manager. We closed the room that the guest stayed in for an extended period of time. We sanitize all common areas continuously. We all live in this area and want to protect everyone’s health. The health department has been contacted and are working with us.

The Hill House Inn also described their enhanced sanitization protocols going forward:

New safety measures at the #HillHouseInn:
* Rooms are to remain vacant 24 hours after guest check-out prior to processing it with housekeeping.
* Guests should wear face masks.
* Sanitizing stations have been set up.
