Churches, Gyms, Salons, & More Must Operate Outdoors Under New Mendocino County Health Orders

As of midnight last night, Mendocino County issued stricter guidance to local industries in the light of increasing cases of COVID-19. The summation of those guidelines provided by Mendocino County Public Health reads as follows:

Effective, Friday, July 24, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., the following industries to shut down unless they can be modified to operate outside (under a canopy or other sun shelter for sufficient air movement) or by pick-up: gyms and fitness center; places of worship and cultural ceremonies, like weddings and funeral; offices for non-essential sectors; personal care services, like nail salons, body waxing and tattoo parlors; hair salons and barbershops; indoor shopping malls.
