Categories:

The following is a press release written by the Medical Director of Sherwood Oaks Doctor John Cottle:

There have been no new cases of COVID identified at Sherwood Oaks since Friday. Of the 4 residents in the facility’s isolation unit, one is recovered and will move out later today, one is stable, but two are declining. Three of our residents with COVID are in Adventist Hospital Mendocino Coast, with condition stable but guarded.

Since the outbreak started at Sherwood Oaks just two weeks ago, Sherwood Oaks has had 13 residents diagnosed with COVID, which includes 4 deaths and 3 recovered. Of the 8 staff infected, 2 have recovered.

We wish to thank our hospital again for their support, also Cucina Verona, Harvest Market, Mendocino Rotary, and FB Rotary clubs for providing some meals for our staff. Thank you Fort Bragg Police Dept and Chief Nolte for providing transport of essential materials.
