At 5:21 am, California Highway Patrol, Hopland Fire, Cloverdale Fire, and other local agencies were dispatched to US 101 where a Silver Dodge pickup had gone off the roadway.
There was as single occupant of the vehicle. The vehicle was 50 feet down a steep embankment alongside the Russian River. personnel
According to personnel on-scene, the driver was an early morning commuter and was seen receiving medical attention.
A tow truck has been called to the scene to assist in extracting the vehicle.
