The following is a brief press release written by the Medical Director of Sherwood Oaks Doctor John Cottle:
Sherwood Oaks continues to have good news to report. Another resident returned to us from Adventist Health Mendocino Coast, recovered from Covid. Of our 24 residents diagnosed with Covid since the outbreak began in early July, 12 have recovered and more are expected to reach that status in the next two days.
All of the 8 staff who contracted Covid have recovered, and the nurses who served in the now closed Sherwood Oaks Covid ward have returned to work after a well deserved rest.
More personal protective gear was received from the County Health Dept yesterday.
