The following is a brief press release written by the Medical Director of Sherwood Oaks Doctor John Cottle:
Sherwood Oaks received our last two Covid positive residents from Adventist Health Mendocino Coast on Monday. Of our 24 residents and 8 staff who tested positive for Covid, all have recovered except the 7 residents who passed away. Additional temporary staff have been hired, and strict isolation policies remain in place. This week’s testing will be completed later today, with results not expected until the weekend. No staff have tested positive in the past 4 weeks, and no residents in the past 11 days.
