[UPDATES] Structure Fire on Red Mountain Road in North County

At approximately 7:56 pm, scanner traffic indicated there is a residential structure fire burning 1 to 2 miles up Red Mountain Road. The dispatcher said black smoke was visible. Initial reports indicate the Leggett Fire Department has been dispatched.

UPDATE 8:19 pm

Dubbed the “Red Incident”, scanner reports indicate fire personnel are getting “conflicting information” about accessing the structure fire .

UPDATE: 8:38 pm

According to scanner traffic, personnel at the scene reported seeing “no smoke, no light” in the area of the fire.

UPDATE: 8:47 pm

Fire personnel are getting conflicting information about the exact location of the fire and scanner traffic indicates witnesses are still claiming to see flames in the general area of the fire.
