Excessive Heat Warning Today Accompanied by Smoky Skies

The following is information published by the National Weather Service in Eureka:

Very hot inland temperatures expected today, with highs reaching over 110 degrees in some areas. Record highs could be tied or broken! An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for much of the interior. Areas of smoke are expected to spread toward the coast today, mainly north of Cape Mendocino.
