Christina Emmett 
The vehicle abandoned on Old River Road
On November 22, 2020, at approximately 3:28pm, Christina Denise Emmett was reported missing to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office after her vehicle was found abandoned in the 11000 block of Old River Road in Hopland, CA. The circumstances surrounding why she went missing is not known.
The Mendocino County Search and Rescue (SAR) Team will be conducting a search in the 11000 Block of Old River Road today so please be careful if you’re driving in that area.

- brown eyes
- brown hair
- may be experiencing mental health related issues

UPDATE 1:14 p.m.
According to Mendocino County Sheriff Office’s Public Information Officer Captain Greg Van Patten, Christina Emmett was located deceased in the Russian River. He told us that next of kin has been notified. Emmett was recovered by the Hopland Fire’s swift water team, Captain Van Patten said.
The updated statement on the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page said, “There is no foul play suspected at this time and this may have been caused by a fall.”
