Fort Bragg resident Rushell Piver needs the community’s help. Sometime between Monday, November 23 and Tuesday the 24, a thief stole a travel trailer from her property on Highway 20 in Fort Bragg and inside was Piver’s beloved late mother’s dog Dino.

Piver is heartbroken at the loss of her mother’s “baby”, a dog named Dino. Piver said Dino is a chihuahua with white and gray markings on his head, a big white patch on his chest, and gray markings along his back. She said Dino is very thin and not wearing a collar. Piver described Dino’s dispostion as “pretty nervous” often whining and barking. The attached pictures is from a few years ago and since taken Piver said Dino has gotten “very gray”.

The stolen travel trailer is described as 25 feet with white and blue stripes. Piver told us that unfortunately, she does not have any pictures of the trailer.

Piver asks that anyone with information regarding the location of Dino call (707) 357-5862 with “no questions asked.”

I like to think of myself as a reporter for the Average Joe. Journalism has become a craft defined largely by city dwellers on America's coasts. It’s time to take it back. I have been an Emerald Triangle resident since 2006 and this is year ten in Mendocino County. Please, email me at matthewplafever@gmail.com if you know a story that needs to be told.
