Sedan Goes off Highway 101 North of Laytonville

A Nissan Maxima went off Hwy 101 south of Cummings and north of Laytonville at approximately mile marker 82 this morning, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

About 8:37 a.m., a Mendocino County deputy called in the report of the accident saying that the vehicle was about 50 feet over the embankment. But, by 8:43 a.m., the deputy had pulled the driver out of the Maxima.

The crash is now being reported as a minor injury accident
