Burning Pick-Up Truck Found on Spyrock Road Quickly Extinguished

According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page, a Black Ford F150 was found at 12:08 p.m. burning near the junction of Spy Rock Road and Iron Peak Road north of Laytonville.

CHP Garberville’s Public Information Officer Rick Fowler confirmed the fire is out, a tow truck has been assigned to extricate the vehicle, and he yet to get the information whether the fire was caused by a mechanical issue or other causes.

  1. The picture was sent to me by a neighbor. I posted it for all the other neighbors to be aware. Thank you for giving us all the information we were lacking .
