According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page, at 1:52 p.m. a Chevrolet Tahoe collided with a tree near the intersection of Hopper Lane and Ledger Lane in Covelo.
The Traffic Incident Page indicates that officers on scene have contacted a woman who says she was the driver of the vehicle and did not experience any injuries due to the collision.
An officer did note an injury on the woman which she says is a result of a dog bite. Also, the officer noted the smell of alcohol on the woman’s breath.
