Categories:

The Pacific Gas and Electric Outage Map is reporting 165 customers in Brooktrails are without power this evening. The map indicates that the electric outage began at 7:54 p.m. This power outage occurred one minute after the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page indicated a white SUV struck a power line then fled the scene.

The CHP Traffic Incident Information states that the white SUV left the scene after striking the power line on Goose Road and the reporting party was behind the vehicle when it occurred. Both Willits Police Department and PG&E have been notified of the incident.

According to the PG&E Electrical outage map, a crew has been assigned to assess the outage and determine the cause. The estimated time of restoration is 11:45 p.m.
