At approximately 7:00 am this morning, scanner traffic indicated that medical personnel responded to the south end of Hare Creek Bridge to treat a hypothermic patient. Fort Bragg’s temperature bottomed out last night at approximately 36° Fahrenheit.

This area along Hare Creek is a known homeless encampment. Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, along with other community members, held a clean-up effort of the area just last week.

It should be noted that the Mendocino Coast’s Emergency Winter Shelter does not open until January 1, 2021.
