According to the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information page, a vehicle went off a cliff near Blues Beach south of Westport and is reportedly in the surf.

CHP officers at the scene reported the vehicle is at the far north end of the beach and appears to have been abandoned. An all-in-one has been dispatched to the scene to extricate the vehicle.

Reports indicate that the Coast Guard has been contacted regarding a gas spill associated with the vehicle with estimates of about 5-10 gallons of gasoline leaking out of the vehicle.
