Four Deaths in Five Days: Mendocino County Suffers Its 4th COVID-19 Fatality of 2021

Mendocino County Public Health’s Monday, January 4, 2020 COVID-19 update indicated that 37 additional cases of COVID-19 had been identified in the county. The update also announced a 31st death due to COVID-19, being the fourth death in the last five days.

Mendocino County Public Health’s Public Information Officer Ashley Toxqui told us that the decedent was a 99-year-old white woman from the Ukiah Area. Toxqui said the woman passed away “in hospice care.”
