Mendocino County social media users are reporting that at approximately 7:45 p.m. their lights flickered in what seemed a momentary power outage.

Residents of Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Covelo, Redwood Valley, Willits, Brooktrails, Yorkville, and even Lake County reported a similar experience.

MendoFever is based in Hopland and experienced the television and clothing dryer switching off momentarily.

We have reached out to PG&E for an explanation benign, yet odd circumstance.

Did you briefly lose power too?

PG&E Spokesperson JD Guidi said the electric provider’s monitoring technology did not register a widespread outage and dispatchers he had spoken with told him they had not gotten reports of an outage. At this time, Guidi said the cause of Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma Counties’ momentary outage cannot be confirmed.
