The following is a press release issued by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page:
Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating a murder in the 700 block of Casa Grande Road, Petaluma. At about 2:40pm today, we received a call that a man had been shot in front of a house. Deputies responded and found a man with gunshot wounds. They requested medical personnel, but the man did not survive.
We are in the early stages of the investigation and will release more information when it’s available. The PIO is on scene for media interviews
