The following is a statment issued on the Ukiah Unified School District’s Facebook page:
Food will be provided for UUSD students and any children 18 years or younger every Wednesday at Ukiah High School, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Food distribution will happen regardless of the weather.
In addition to regular food items, every family will receive ingredients for a Super Bowl Party! Hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, ingredients for nachos like chili and cheese, french fries, veggies for a veggie platter, and popsicles are items that may be included. Some menu items are limited, and the selection may vary.
Remember to wear a mask and practice physical distancing when receiving food. Reach out to your school for support or call 707-472-5003, and don’t forget to read with your kids!
