Two Juveniles Medivaked Out of Round Valley After Quad Accident

Two Round Valley juveniles were airlifted to Redding after a major traffic collision involving two all-terrain vehicles, according to scanner traffic, the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page, and Round Valley residents.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., scanner reports indicated a 12 and 14-year-old girl were brought to the Covelo Fire Station on Highway 162. The 12-year-old reportedly suffered an arm injury and the 14-year-old a head injury after the collision. 

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicated that responding officers determined the accident occurred near Briggs Point on the roadway.
