Injuries Reported After Half-Ton Pickup Drives Off Highway 162

Emergency personnel are responding to mile marker 24 of Highway 162 after a half-ton pick up truck drove off of the roadway into nearby bushes.

According to scanner traffic, medical has been requested on scene regarding injuries.

UPDATE 5:20 p.m.

More details have emerged regarding the vehicle involved in the collision. The California Traffic Incident Information Page indicates the vehicle involved is a black Cadillac Escalade towing a boat.
