Wrong Way Driver Speeding North in Southbound Lanes of Highway 101 Stopped by CHP North of Ukiah

At approximately 12:23 p.m. scanner traffic indicated California Highway Patrol pursued a wrong way driver who began driving north in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near the Perkins offramp in Ukiah and sped north.

CHP units have pulled over the vehicle, described as a silver Toyota sedan, that was driving the wrong way on Highway 101 pulling the vehicle over south of the Lake Mendocino Drive exit.

CHP officers and Mendocino County Sheriff deputies are now investigating the vehicle.
