Scanner traffic indicates Potter Valley Fire and Calfire Howard Forest are responding to 15150 Mid Mountain Road in Potter Valley regarding reports of a residential structure fire.
At 8:54 p.m., the incident commander told dispatch the home is a two-story, single family dwelling and the fire seems to be relegated to the attic.
The dispatcher told responding units the reporting party said the fire started in the fireplace and now it appears the roof is on fire.
UPDATE 9:56 p.m.
The Incident Commander informed dispatch that the fire is under control and the incident has been terminated.
