Morning Tremblor Shakes Willits and Surrounding Communities

At 6:06 a.m., an earthquake measuring 2.9 on the richter scale shook 5.6 miles east southeast of Willits. The United State Geological Survey Earthquake tracker indicates the epicenter of the quake was .4 miles underground

As per USGS’s Community Internet Intensity Map, the quake did not cause any damage and resulted in light shaking.
