At approximately 9:24 p.m., two vehicles collided with each other near Richardson’s Grove State Park, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
One person was trapped for a time but was eventually freed.
Traffic was stopped in both directions for about 20 minutes. As of about 10 a.m. there is one-way traffic control to allow drivers in both directions a chance to move through the area.
An ambulance is responding to the area. However, a report on the CHP site indicates that there are only minor injuries.
UPDATE 10:50 p.m.:The CHP report that the two vehicles are a GMC Canyon and a Nissan Altima.
