There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in southeastern Trinity, eastern Mendocino and Lake counties this afternoon. Remember, when dark clouds approach, seek shelter immediately inside a building or a vehicle. Lightning can strike without any warning and sometimes several miles from the parent cloud.
