At 7:18 p.m., scanner traffic indicated dispatch received reports of a man striking a woman bludgeoning her with a metal bar outside Ukiah’s Be-Bop’s restaurant.
Ukiah Police Department officers responded to the scene searching for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a male wearing all black clothing with blonde hair in braids. The reporting party told dispatch the suspect is wearing a backpack with a rolled up sleeping bag on top.
