Linda Schupp and her husband moved to Mendocino County recently after they retired so they could be closed to their kids and grandkids. Just beginning to explore the county, Schupp said the “scenery, people, and geography are beautiful, diverse, and fascinating.” She explores Mendocino with her trusted iPhone camera to “take advantage of the lighting and special, unexpected moments.”
Linda Schupp told us she began documenting Lake Mendocino last fall and several occasions since. The drama of a cloudy day is evident in several of the photographs, especially when juxtaposed to her pictures of a bluebird day on the lake. She said her photographs “tell a story of the drought we are experiencing now.”
