MendoMoments: A Little Library in the Hamlet of Hearst

Andreas Simpson grew up in the rural town of Willits now calling Los Angeles his home. Two weeks ago Samson sought refuge from the concrete jungle returning to his homeland for a brief respite from LaLa Land.

Samson moseyed on up the Willits Hearst Road to visit friends on the Eel River and “happened upon this well stocked Little Free Library near the bridge to Eden Valley in the hamlet known as Hearst.”

It’s good to know in the wilds of Mendocino County’s mountains, any Joe Schmo can still curl up with a good book.
