[Update] Vehicle Overturns in Covelo and Occupants Reportedly Flee the Scene

**The vehicle overturned in a ditch [Picture sent to us by a Round Valley Resident]**

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicates a vehicle overturned into a ditch on Covelo’s Agency Road at approximately 11:15 a.m.. First responders have determined that occupants left the area.

CHP, Covelo Fire, and Round Valley Tribal Police responded to the scene. A tow truck has been dispatched to the location to extricate the vehicle from the ditch.

Images sent to us by a Round Valley resident suggest the vehicle is a silver Honda Pilot SUV.

UPDATE 12:14 p.m.: The CHP Incident Information page indicates law enforcement is out with the possible driver of the vehicle.
