Two Vehicles Collide Near Intersection of Ukiah’s Commerce Drive and Airport Park Boulevard

At approximately 11:35 p.m., a two vehicle traffic incident occurred near the intersection of Ukiah’s Commerce Drive and Airport Park Boulevard.

Scanner traffic indicates Ukiah Police Department, Ukiah Valley Fire Authority, and an ambulance responded to the scene. Traffic controls are in effect due to the involved vehicles coming to rest in the roadway.

A witness told us she was in the Starbuck’s drive-thru line when one of the vehicles seemingly ran a red light resulting in the collision and one of the vehicles almost went over the roadside embankment into the Starbucks line.

The two vehicles involved in the collision appear to be a GMC Yukon SUV and four door Lexus sedan. A first responder told dispatch the accident resulted in moderate damage to the sedan.

  1. 11:35 pm???? You’re off by 12 hours. At 11:35 pm it would have been completely dark and Starbucks would have been closed for hours, nobody would be in the drive through ?
