[Update: Fire Out] Vehicle Burns on Rural Road Northeast of Laytonville

Multiple fire resources have been dispatched to the 600 block of Simmerly Road regarding a passenger vehicle on fire.

Laytonville Fire Station Chief Sue Carberry confirmed that as of this time, the fire is confined to the vehicle, fully-involved, and has not spread into vegetation.

UPDATE 5:59 p.m.: Laytonville Fire Station Chief Sue Carberry has confirmed the fire is out, was confined to the vehicle, and all resources have been canceled to the scene except one engine.
