[Update: Incident Terminated] Southbound Traffic Blocked on Highway 101 South of Willits After Vehicle Collides with Guardrail

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Incident Information page indicates traffic has is blocked on Highway 101 after a driver collided with a guard rail south of Willits.

The driver of the vehicle is a female and reportedly is suffering a head injury as a result of the collision. A first responder characterized the injury as “minor.” The collision occurred in the southbound lane and the vehicle came to rest in the roadway.

Little Lake Fire has been dispatched to the scene to address the potential the driver needs extricated from the vehicle.

UPDATE 8:43 p.m.: One southbound lane of Highway 101 has successfully reopened as first responders attempt to clear the roadway.

UPDATE 9:14 p.m.: The roadway has reopened and the incident commander told the dispatcher the incident is terminated.
