At approximately 12:50 p.m., scanner traffic indicated a Be on the Lookout had been issued by the Ukiah Police Department for a dark blue Honda sedan occupied by three males who reportedly fired a gun in the area of 1998 Elm Street.

Ukiah Police Department Lieutenant Andrew Phillips told us there were “no injuries” associated with the shooting but “one vehicle appeared to have been struck by a bullet.”

A neighbor told us she heard approximately 5-6 shots ring out at approximately 12:45 p.m. and law enforcement arrived shortly afterward.

Lieutenant Phillips said the Detective Bureau is currently “assisting Patrol Officers with the case” and “a press release will follow at a later time.
