Willits Police Requests Residents Along Frontier Days Parade Route to Keep Roadway Clear

The following is a press release issued by the Willits Police Department:

On Sunday July 4th, 2021 the City of Willits will be hosting the annual  Frontier Days Parade. The Willits Police Department seeks the assistance  of those residents who live on the parade route, detour route and parade  staging areas in keeping the streets clear on July 4th. During the last week  of June, volunteers from the Frontier Days Committee will be going door to  door in these areas handing out “NO PARKING NOTICES” as a friendly  reminder to residents about the special parking requirements on July 4th.  The Willits Police Department seeks your assistance and cooperation in  making the Frontier Days Parade an enjoyable family experience.  

The following streets with be affected by the parade: 

E. Commercial St., S. Main St., E. Valley St. and S. Lenore. 

The following streets will be affected by the detour: 

W. Commercial St., School St., Pine St., Coast St. and W. Valley St.
