The fire burned a modular building along Low Gap Road and a eyewitness told us the building is not completley destroyed but no longer usable. The modular building used to be the Ukiah Field Office for Congressman Jared Huffman.

At 6:59 p.m. the Incident a commander reported the fire has successfully been knocked down and it would take approximately one hour to extinguish thoroughly. That means it took fire crews approximately 15 minutes to control an out of control burning building.

We have contacted Ukiah Valley Fire Authorities Battalion Chief Justin Buckingham for comment and are awaiting his words.
