Bike Ridden by 70-Year-Old and Vehicle Collide in Ukiah

Scanner traffic at 4:04 p.m. indicates a vehicle struck a 70-year-old bicyclist on Ukiah’s Hazel Maple Avenue near Fairway Drive.

Ukiah Valley Fire Authority and medical personnel are responding to the scene.

UPDATE 4:53 p.m.: The last scanner traffic regarding the incident indicated first responders were assessing whether an air ambulance would be needed to address the victim’s wounds.
