Scanner traffic at approximately 5:20 p.m. indicated Fish and Wildlife was requesting Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office assistance regarding reports of water theft near Willits.
The suspects were described as two males with multiple water tanks in an unmarked truck and no plates pumping water out of Bechtel Creek near the intersection of Williams Ranch Road and Deer Mill Road.
