Man Assaulted with a Baseball Bat in Fort Bragg; Law Enforcement and Medical Responding

Scanner traffic at approximately 7:05 a.m. indicated law enforcement and medical personnel are en route to the 32800 block of Hare Creek Road in Fort Bragg regarding a man who was reportedly assaulted with a baseball bat.

The dispatcher told responding personnel that the victim is reportedly holed up in a shed, holding the door closed, nearby a residence with “other people” including the suspect.

Medical staged nearby indicating they will wait outside the immediate incident area for law enforcement to assure it is safe.
