Scanner traffic beginning at 11:08 p.m. indicated a full wildland fire response was dispatched to 10000 Surprise Valley Road in Comptche after reports of a burning bus in a backyard spreading into nearby wildland.

Comptche Fire and Cal Fire were initially dispatched but support units were cancelled when the Incident Commander found the fire was contained to the bus with no extension into wildland.

The Incident Commander requested all Comptche Fire Engines and an extra water tender continue their response.
