California vehicle code section 27151(a) states in Part:
“(a) A person shall not modify the exhaust system of a motor vehicle in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the motor of the vehicle so that the vehicle is not in compliance with the provisions of Section 27150…”

  1. I personally don’t understand it!

If a person needs attention and recognition that bad why command it by destroying the peaceful enjoyment of your neighbors?

    Love One Another!

I would prefer it if you would blow heart shaped bubbles out of your exhaust in my neighborhood all hours of the day and night!

I would run to my window in sheer delight to catch a glimpse of you instead of shaking my fist and growling!

  2. Must be a big lull in police work, to force drivers to plug the holes in their mufflers, no fires no wrecks no parking tickets, selling tickets to the ball at the mall, homeless problems?
