On 09-14-2021 at approximately 5:23 AM, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at the S&B Market located in the 19000 block of South Highway 1 in Manchester, California.

On arrival, Deputies contacted market owner(s) who were on scene and who advised a female suspect [later identified as Gloria Slatten] was still inside the market.  Deputies observed entry had been forced through a glass storefront door while the market was closed.

Deputies made entry inside the market and located Slatten inside.  Deputies observed Slatten had gathered numerous items of store merchandise and had other store items in her possession.

Slatten was subsequently arrested without incident and booked into the Mendocino County Jail where she is being held in lieu of $15,000.00 bail.

During the investigation it was determined the victim [S&B Market] suffered an estimated $4,000.00 loss.
