Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a small sedan struck the center divider on Highway 101 south of the Ridgewood Summit coming to rest in the southbound lane blocking traffic around 11:47 a.m.
Multiple agencies are responding to the scene. First responders are establishing themselves north of the crash site to slow down traffic. The Incident Commander reports there is only 300 feet of visibility due to fog and wants the first responders to station at the scales so traffic slows down.
UPDATE 12:26 p.m.: First responders are still at the scene working to clear the roadway. The CalTrans Quickmap shows that southbound traffic is significantly impacted.
