On 09-19-2021 at about 5:51 AM Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a possible robbery which had occurred at a location on Reservation Road in Laytonville, California.

Deputies were advised the suspects had left the location in a black sedan.

Upon arrival, Deputies learned an adult female had cashed a large check on 09-17-2021 in the presence of Jacob Sanderson.

On 09-19-2021 in the early morning hours, Miranda Mullins walked into the adult female’s residence without knocking and demanded money.

Mullins appeared to have a weapon and the adult female feared for her safety and gave Mullins a sum of money prompting Mullins to leave the residence.  Mullins got into a black sedan which was later found to have been occupied by Sanderson and another subject.
