Fort Bragg CVS Pharmacy Surveillance Footage Captures Vehicle Suspected of Monday’s Hit and Run Leaving One Seriously Injured

Categories:

The following is a post published on the Fort Bragg Police Department Facebook page:

Our Department has been able to track the suspected vehicle involved in Tuesday’s hit-and-run to stopping at CVS Pharmacy following the collision. Our local CVS is currently refusing to release the name of the customer despite being served with a signed search warrant. Our Department will continue to work through the weekend to attempt to contact CVS’s legal department regarding this matter. The individual depicted in the below video is suspected of being a passenger in the suspect vehicle at the time of the collision. We understand the video does not provide much identifying information but we wanted to share the clothing. If you are able to identify the passenger or have any other information regarding this vehicle please contact our non-emergency dispatch at 707-964-0200. Anonymous tips may be left at 707-961-2800 ext. 135.

  1. Nice. A precedent was set:

“Our local CVS is currently refusing to release the name of the customer despite being served with a signed search warrant.”

Businesses can now refuse a signed search warrant.

    Awesome!

  2. This is a first in America. Not providing video to law enforcement in a criminal matter. Mendocino County, where everything is inside out. Fellow citizens, do not shop at CVS in Fort Bragg.
