Two Trailers ‘Completely Destroyed’ on Spy Rock Road in Same Location Where a Trailer Burned Last Saturday

Array

Scanner traffic beginning around 11:09 p.m. indicated that a trailer was reportedly burning near the intersection of Spy Rock Road and Karma Road. Both firefighters and law enforcement have been dispatched to the scene where initially a man was described as outside of the trailer screaming and running around the yard trying to put out the fire.

The fire, known as the School Incident because of its approximately ½ mile proximity to Spy Rock Elementary School, was described by the Incident Commander as consuming two trailers and destroying them. The Incident Commander added, “there doesn’t appear to be any property owner or any responsible around.”

It is important to note that this last Saturday afternoon firefighters responded to the same area regarding a smoldering trailer that first responders surmised had burned unnoticed in the night.

Please remember that this story is unfolding. Information is being reported as we gather it. However, some of the information coming from witnesses and initial official reports could be wrong. We will do our best to get the facts but, in the case that something is inaccurate, we will update with correct information as soon as we can.

The location specified in the above map is an approximation of the incident’s location.

  1. I was on the road by there like 2 weeks ago and I could see this person going mental with anger. He was talking a lot of nonsense and was making very aggressive gestures and kept stating ,” I am going to kill you… Make me dig holes, work all day, make my dog deaf from shooting the gun right next to it…” I thought that guy needs to get some help before he ends up hurting his dad.

  2. The perp’s name is Robert Bell, and he entered my home covered with blood on August 4. He said he was looking for his grandfather, and I pointed to the front door and said, “go there.” He left, I ran and locked the door, and called 911. He then went on to vandalize my truck: broke windshield, tail light, tore rear view mirror off, pulled off turn signal indicator on side of steering column, broke radio and tried to rip out the gear shift. People came and chased him and he ran home to 3641 Spyrock. The police came and arrested him, but the DA did not prosecute, instead they violated his probation, but he had enough time served to go free, so he did, I think Sept. 9. Since then he has threatened to hurt his father “much worse than before”, and the father had been in the emergency room for a long time. His father has fled the family home. On Oct. 22, he threw wheelbarrows, shovels, and large rocks at vehicles, screaming and cursing, and when the CHP came up, he hid. He set the first fire on Oct. 23, and before the fire engines arrived, a person was driving by and offered to help, but Mr. Bell was feeding the fire and told the man to go away in a threatening manner. Now two more fires set on Oct. 26. He hides when the fire people come. He has been throwing things at vehicles for years, and I constantly get phone calls to stay in my home because the crazy man is out again. Before Covid, Spyrock School was on lockdown at least 9 times from him where they had to lock the gate, and all the students and teacher locked in the classroom.
