[UPDATE: Patient in Critical Condition] Extrication Required After Single Vehicles Rolls Onto Embankment South of Hopland

As per scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page, a white sedan rolled and ended upon on an embankment around 7:03 p.m. along Highway 101 south of Hopland near the Geysers exit.

Both fire and medical personnel are at the scene and the Incident Commander reported there is a singular patient in the vehicle in a “low level of consciousness” and extrication is required.

UPDATE 7:31 p.m.: The Incident Commander is reporting the patient is in critical condition. He requested an air ambulance but all declined due to weather. The closest ambulance is in Ukiah and has been dispatched to the scene.
