Police Pursuit Ends at Hendy Woods with One at Gun Point

Information is scant at this point, but scanner traffic as 9:00 p.m. indicated law enforcement has been dispatched to the entrance of Hendy Woods State Park after a pursuit reportedly ended at the location.

A female associated with the pursued vehicle, the dispatcher added, was out of the vehicle and lying prone on the ground.

The dispatcher revealed the pursuit was conducted by State Parks law enforcement officers and when they requested back up a suspect was reportedly at gunpoint.

  2. Maybe she just needed a safer place to sleep during the heavy wind and rain. I don’t know where the petty theft came in as nothing was reported stolen. We don’t know what was said to cause her to respond the way she did, but there’s usually two sides to the story and it takes to argue, so even though she did have the right to be there doesn’t make her a bad person and doesn’t give the renters the right to be mean or offensive. I hope she’s okay and able to get on her feet before Winter. And in response to “Sean” immigration status isn’t important, neither is the color of your skin. Stop racism and in a world where you can be ANYTHING be kind!
