One Person Trapped After Truck Careens Off Simpson Lane Southeast of Fort Bragg

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a single-vehicle traffic accident occurred on Simpson Lane southeast of Fort Bragg.

A Ford Raptor occupied by two reportedly went off of the roadway. Initial reports indicate that one person is out of the vehicle and the other is unresponsive.

The Incident Commander arrived on the scene at reported at 11:09 p.m. that part of the roadway is blocked and extrication is required due to one party being trapped.

UPDATE 11:21 p.m.: The dispatcher stated officers at the scene have determined the driver of the vehicle is under the influence and the passenger is a “possible fatality.”

  1. A terrible preventable tragedy, that could have been avoided.and no matter how much jail time .or whatever .not manslaughter neglegent homicide.15 years should be at least recommend
